AGM

As is the time honoured tradition, this will be our last meeting of the season. The year has been a mixed bag with a number of highs, particularly for those members who reached their goals and were promoted. Recently however we have seen numbers dwindle at meetings. We need you to attend the AGM so that we can address this issue and hear your views, particularly so that we can take the Society forward positively next season. This is YOUR Society, not any one individuals, so it is important your new committee can hear what you want. Please make every effort to attend. AGM minutes from 2011 are to the left along with the Officers Reports, Proposed Rule Changes and Agenda for the 2012 AGM.

Congratulations to Paul Waller & Jonathan Wing who has just been promoted by the ECFA from level 6 to Level 5 and from level 7 to level 6 Jack Morris, Roger Nutbrown & Donna Huth, well done.

Conrgatulations to Jeff Stanley who has been appointed to the line in the Ridgeons League Cup Final - Norwich United v Stanway along with a line in the Ryman League Div 1 South Play Off Final Bognor Regis v Dulwich Hamlet.

The Referees’ Association and The Football Association are looking to form an RA-FA Youth Council. 

The full details are on the left hand side of this page. There is a good deal of commitment required from anyone who is selected to be part of the group, so please ensure that you are fully briefed as to the expectations in regard to travel and attending meetings. 

The RA are looking for a range of refereeing experience, representative of each region and from a cross-section of the refereeing workforce.  They are expecting a large number of applicants from across the refereeing community and hope to advise successful candidates w/c 11th June 2012.  Anyone who applies, who does not hear from The FA by Friday 22nd June 2012 should assume that their application has been considered but was not successful.

Plums

Even at this stage in the season, if you are appointed to a plum please inform the Secretary, we are more than happy to blow the trumpet for you . The first cup final appointments are on the plums link. Where possible, please support your colleagues.
